Hi, Iām Kassidyā
But a lot of people call me Kass. You can usually find me chasing my toddler down a trail, cooking for my friends, running along my favorite trails in our mountain town, or splashing around in the South Fork of the Snoqualmie River behind my house.
My husband, Nathan, and I have spent much of our relationship seeking out wild places ā living on the road, traveling throughout the West, sleeping in our van beneath desert stars, and building a life that feels deeply connected to the outdoors. The mountains, rivers, and changing seasons of the Pacific Northwest have shaped not only where we live, but also the way I see and document the world.
Over the past seven years as a photographer and videographer, Iāve realized that this work has given me far more than a career. It has taught me how to pay attention. To notice the way evening light spills across a kitchen floor, the sound of laughter around a campfire, or the feeling of cold river water on a hot summer day. Photography has taught me to romanticize my own life ā not by making it look perfect, but by recognizing the beauty that already exists within it.
A few facts about me.
I am 30 years old, an ENFJ, Scorpio, and Enneagram 4
I have been married to my husband Nathan for 7 years
We have a spunky 2-year-old little boy & another little boy on the way (!!)
Nathan and I lived and traveled in our van on and off for 2 years
I love to run, ski, rock climb, do yoga, cook, backpack, swim in the ocean, and walk in the grass barefoot
I have been photographing weddings & couples professionally since 2019
What I hope for you
I hope that you hear the birds chirping during our session, that you catch your grandparents laughing in the crowd at your wedding, and that our time together will be more than posing for pictures, but help you slow down and remember this season of life youāre in.
That I can be your photojournalist, I strive to capture you simply & honestly just as you are. I hope that you look back at the photos or videos we create with gratitude for where youāve been and where you are going.
I believe in documenting love in every form. The love you share with your partner, the love we get to experience through the Earth and her beauty, or the love you have for your community that surrounds you on your wedding day. My goal is to make you feel comfortable enough to share that love so that I can document it honestly.
So you can remember how it felt to be here.
