This day with Eric & Erica was also a true coming together of two families. Together these two crafted not only an adventurous, intentional day for themselves, but an environment that their families got to reminisce, laugh and celebrate together. Eric and Erika picked a peaceful, intimate spot on the shores of Lake Crescent for their ceremony and then had a dreamy dinner reception tucked away in the middle of the forest

After I officially went full-time into running my photography business, Jess & Roark were some of the first people that reached out. We reconnected over coffee in Portland and I took their engagement photos on a rooftop in the city. Soon after, they booked me to photograph their wedding as well. Of course, the pandemic caused them to change their original wedding plans and they ended up eloping at this beautiful Mt. Adams getaway house with just their closest family and friends and moved their wedding reception to the following year.

On a beautiful summer evening, we decided to meet at Deception Pass State Park for Clare & Joey’s engagement photos. This was the perfect location for this session, not only because the park is stunning, but because there are endless trails and bluffs to meander, dogs are allowed, and golden hour there is unmatched. From exploring trails and walking along the coastline to watching the sunset, I had so much fun spending time with these two and I can hardly wait to be there to capture their wedding day.
